The Bat Box – Various artificial Homes for Bats

We designed the Bat Box to cater for various insectivorous bats (also known as microbats). These boxes were carefully developed through extensive research and much trial and error in order to have them readily accepted by microbats in Australia.

Bat Box Features

Unique features of the Bat Box include:

• Coated with bituminous paint to withstand all weather conditions
• Plantation plywood is used throughout construction
• recycled solid timber floorboard for backing block
• sheetmetal roof for additional protection
• Fine galvanised mesh (allows animal to climb around easily)
• large landing pad
• can house up to 50 bats
